Left Front Garden

BEFORE

AFTER

From left:  Privet hedge (needing trim), lilac bush surrounded by a sea of Rozanne Geranium (longest flowering perennial... the vivid purple flowers don't show well in this photo), front row along walk is smaller geranium in white (but it hardly bloomed this year).  On right side to replace the Yew bush:  2 zebra grasses (still quite small), some annual impatients for color amongst the purple flowers and one spiky annual.  Around the lilac there are 4 18" Pardon Me red Daylilies and to the right a taller, also red, daylily (which isn't really visible).
(Not a great photo - none of the daylilies are noticeable...)

THE SIDE YARD
from front

The messy side yard is invisible from front (blocked from view by shrubs).  This is where I have the dining room in-window bird feeder (see upper left - the window to the left of the air conditioner)... and the bird bath (foreground)... and the veg and herb "garden" in grow pots.  The left one is tomato plants, and the right one has cucumbers, parsley, basil, caraway (greens for salads), and carrots (I'll believe them when I see them!)   Click here to view the birds in the feeder!

THE BACK YARD
from bottom of Driveway

BEFORE:

AFTER:

We added 10 larger red-twig dogwoods to the left, so that is big and bushy and covers the rusted fence and stump.

Adirondack chairs. Notice new garden of Vinca Minor (aka Periwinkle aka Myrtle) by back fence.

Thank you for taking the Garden Tour!  I hope you enjoyed it.
